Yay! Im arriving on Thursday and leave on Monday. Traveling by myself, staying really close to Vondelpark.

What are you doing on Sunday? I've signed up for the Anne Frank museum. Didn'r have time to got there during my last visit and just went to a play about Anne Frank. I'm so looking forward to it. And meeting all the bookcrossers, of course!

Hi Intry

I nearly booked for the Anne Frank trip but decided to do our own thing on Sunday as I have my non-bookcrsossing husband with me. Also we fly home on Sunday afternoon and I wasn't sure we'd have time to do the organised trip and get to the airport on time.

I'll look out for you, if it's possible to see name badges.

We are doing the walk on Sunday as we thought that would be a good way to have a guided tour of Amsterdam. We are thinking of going to the Anne Frank Museum on Friday morning as we arrive very early.

Oh, I can't really express how much this sucks...

I have fever. I'm too ill to travel.

I was really looking forward to the convention, meeting you all.
And since I booked the cheepest possible flight I can't get a refund and it is too late to change the date.

So sorry you won't be with us in Amsterdam, intry. Hope you are feeling better soon and that the stories of the Convention do not make you too sad you are not here.

My husband and I flew in to Amsterdam this morning and have now settled into our hotel. Off to explore.

Due to the volcanic ash my flight was chancelled yesterday :-(
The next one might be on later Saturday afternoon with the chance to be stranded in Amsterdam on Monday ...
So we won't make it after all *sob*

Now, reading all about the volcanic ashes, I have to admit I'm almost glad I got a fever.
Was going to fly by Riga (Latvia) and I would probably have gotten stuck there on my way to Amsterdam. Not knowing when it would be possible to continue.

gosh this is so frustrating (of course the worst is for the people in Iceland). I hope it'll come down by 26th. I'm reading the same volcano twice erupted since March 20th (and before that was sleeping for 200 years).
