It started snowing around 1:00 am overnight and it turned to drizzle and freezing rain by 3:00 am. I slept in since there was no way I was going to attempt driving in that!  :nono:
It was 10:00 am by the time I made breakfast. Felt really good to just relax and do nothing. The roads are iced over and the cars are covered, too. It looks really dead out, no cars/people anywhere. The temp is supposed to rise by 2:00-3:00 pm and the normal rain will start which should melt everything. Apparently we will be having temps in the 28 to 40F range for the next week or so. (not bad considering it's usually much colder than that around this time of year.)

I'd like to offer a prize, too, an audiobook from audible, winner can send three choices and I will pick one. :)

finished listening to 18th Abduction and it was ok.  My kids and grands left late today for their 11 hour drive back to Maryland.  I miss those sweet little voices already.  I'll hopefully get some reading done in the next few days.  It's been wonderfully warm here the last few days as well.

I should have gotten more reading done today than I did. My husband gave me a second computer monitor for Christmas and I just had to try it out, so I watched Netflix on one screen and played World of Warcraft on the other. It is so awesome, lol!

"The Book Scavenger" has started out to be a really good YA fantasy. I'll try to do better tomorrow.

I finished Sleepless in Manhattan and the short ebook Mountain Darkness.

I'm about to start A Quick Bite by Lynsay Sands. Although I'm. Trying to start a new crochet project of a stormtrooper doll and am having a hard time getting the head started. Crochet in the round is not easy.

Elengil and I have listened to a few more hours of the Robert Jordan book we have been listening to. Now I remember why I stopped the series after reading this book so many years ago.

That is like my all time favorite series. What made you stop listening? :)
