Elengil and I have listened to a few more hours of the Robert Jordan book we have been listening to. Now I remember why I stopped the series after reading this book so many years ago.
That is like my all time favorite series. What made you stop listening? :)
I was reading the books back when the series was first being published. Book six was just so dragged out, and I had just started college when book 7 came out and I had decided I didn't have time to re-read the earlier books to be up to date with the new one. ..

Now we can just listen to all the books and not have to wait 2-4 years for the next to come out,

Yesterday was a good reading day but today I only had time to listen to a bit of the Cussler. I am determined to finish the Robert Jordan before the end of the year. I have a little over 100 pages to go.

Listened to more of "Book Scavenger" yesterday and still loving it. I wish that had been a real game when I was young 🙂

Finished "Book Scavenger". I love the idea of the scavenger hunt and the ciphers. What I disliked most about this book was the Social Studies Teacher. He was a total horse's rear end.

Have started a book I've had on my TBR mountain for a long time, "Swords & Deviltry" by Fritz Leiber. The introduction was by Neil Gaiman, so we are off to a good start!

Only a couple of more days left of the Read-a-Thon. How is everyone doing? Did we all reach our reading goal for 2019?

I guess I should draw the first name or two for a prize tonight.

The Randomizer liked Azuki & Meshe this evening. Go pick a prize!!

I did more than hit it... I apparently blew it away.  Over on GR I chose 50 for the year, thinking I’d be too busy.  I clocked in over 200 (which seems to be the norm). However to be fair I did a lot of really light reading to counter the super heavy items, which were quite dense this year.

I put me back at a goal of 150, but I barely made that this year and there are several really, really long books I'd like to get to this year. I might should go down to 100.

My goal was 100 this year, but I fell short. Only 88 so far and not looking good on finishing #89. Oh well.
I'm reading Gilead by Marilynne Robinson for my book club and finding it sooooo boring. Hoping it gets better soon.
Finished 18th Abduction by James Patterson. it was meh
Started Blue Moon by Lee Child (library hold that come in) and I'm not loving it.  Maybe Reacher has run his course for me.
I won a prize yippee, I'll scoot over to the prize page to see what's available.

I've checked out the prizes and would like the tshirt please. if size is needed I'm an xl
