I've set up a new resource and I'd love for you to pay me a visit.
To explain what it's all about:
Welcome to The Book Bloggers, hosted by Breeni Books!
As more publications nix book review sections, the industry of book promotion is quickly shifting to the next viable resource: book bloggers. Book bloggers are passionate about their art, enthusiastic about reading, and do an incredible amount of work for the publishing industry, usually for little more than the satisfaction of a job well done. Where better to discover new authors and great books than from the avid reader?
There are so many book bloggers out there, it can be difficult for authors to determine who will be a compatible match for their books. We all know how important first impressions are. How can an author avoid wasting time on a misguided query letter? Youve got a list of bloggers, but who is familiar with Civil War fiction? Does Book Blogger A review mysteries? Does Blogger B accept PDF versions or prefer hard copies?
The Book Bloggers is a format for bloggers and authors to connect. Ill be interviewing bloggers with questions pertinent to review submission, and featuring their answers here, in daily posts. Use these interviews to scope out potential reviewers. Read over each bloggers preferences, genre expertise, and method of submission. Have all the important information in hand before you labor over countless emails, only to have one or two lukewarm responses.
Remember respect is the key, and treat bloggers as you would any professional reviewer.
Good luck with your marketing campaign!
