sorry still unknown for Sunday dinner. My hubby wants to meet up w his friends but his plans are unset yet, and he seems not in a hurry to concrete that in. So may not know till a day or two before. I guess if I can go, I will either order from the menu or see what other plans you guys have.
Yes, unfortunately, all Smithsonian museums and zoo and monuments are considering part of the federal government. Should the fed shut down, those areas will be closed. This is certainly not something that coudl ahve been anticipated! Transporation won't be shut (metro is paid for by VA, MD adn DC) but the regularly scheduled events would be out the window. 
Here's to hoping the politicians who make 200K a year can get their job DONE and nothing gets shut down!!

I am going to try the reverse scavenger hunt! Also, I got the email last night with the menu. YUM! Looking forward to this weekend!! I am going to start packing my bag tonight with books I am taking.

I got the emails too. My Friday am activity is cancelled as they couldn't get group tickets, and I am not going to line up there at 8am to get individual ones. SO look like it may be a easy morning. Or I may do the Snarfari tour.

Well you can sleep in or go see the other memorials and monuments. Bring an umbrella or rain coat, they are predicting showers on Saturday afternoon.
