I'm not intending to step on anyone else's plans.. just curious if the Best of for '18 has any interest.

It's my recollection that the Best Of swap generally starts in the new year. Traditionally it starts on the 10th, which only sticks in my mind because that's my birthday, so I always have that to look forward to 
I'm so glad others are anticipating it, too. It used to be this MASSIVE swap that went on for WEEKS, and the books on offer are always so interesting that you're apt to add a bunch to your wishlist/TBR for sure. It's the only swap that has happened consistently now for several years, what with skyrocketing shipping prices. (But who remembers the "good old days" when we had a couple swaps a month, on various genres, and even shipped entire BOXES of books around to each other for the pleasure of maybe popping a few out and dropping in a couple in exchange, amirite?)
The intrepid zzz was our host for quite a while, and he headhunted me back into the fold after my postpartum reading drought to cohost with him. When he retired, he kinda left the Best Of mantle with me. I was planning on putting up the sign-up next week. I'll be looking for a co-host to help out, of course. Generally it's useful if that person is able to watch the forums from a different time zone than me so there's usually someone around to make a rules call if needed.
