I finally could afford to get an ink cartridge for my printer. Now I want to make labels in order to start leaving this HUGE mound of books here and there.
HELP :bounce:

I always look at the links on BC..... there are quite a few different ones there. And Danes makes THE coolest labels :D

I've stopped using labels. I just use the stamp because ink for it is cheap, it can't be peeled off, and it is relatively small compared to labels. It was a good investment.

I've got a number of them bookmarked:

BookCrossing - Bookmarks, Labels, Stamps
adnyl's BookCrossing designs & labels
WanderingWord: Bookcrossing Labels by Saine
CrustyTapioca BookCrossing labels no longer online?
Labels for BookCrossing by boirina
saffista's BookCrossing labels
TexasWren's BookCrossing labels
TheBloody's BookCrossing labels
BXlabel : Bookcrossing Label Group (Yahoo!)

I've made a few different labels myself too, using MS Publisher, but so far, only one was converted to PDF, that I had woosang do for me, and she put it up at the BXlabel group above. (It's a small simple text only one for when you want to keep it small, sweet, and discreet.) I should eventually send her a zip with some of my others to convert to PDF and put up there too...

ETA the label below:

These labels print on Avery 5160 labels (1" x 2-5/8", 30 per page). Click the image below to download the PDF.

These labels are designed to be very unobtrusive and because they don't specifically say "Read and Release Me" are appropriate even for books that you plan to keep in your PC. (And then if you lend it out, it's still got tracking capabilities.)

Heh :) I saw your post and realized I probably should've changed the name on mine anyway. When I first bookmarked the site she didn't use that name, so my Bookmark was still saved with the old name. But thanks to your post anyway, you made me realize that so I updated it everywhere, including in my favorites. :D

I made labels for Cosmicgin last year. I still have them saved. I can always change the alien to something else but I never use labels anymore. I just write the bcid# in the book.

Here's some that my coworker designed for me. I print 'em out on full-sheet label stock and then trim them down (there's also a link in my signature)
