Hi.
I just received a book I mooched but it is not in very good shape.
I am a bit disappointed.
The thing is, is there a way I can find how this person described this book? The conditions she had put on them?
I have not yet set it as received.

Some of the pages have a torn/rip. It looks like someone tore it. Not that bad but at least 20 pages have a rip on the bottom.

ah I think she did not set any conditions.
I am also waiting on another book and there I can still see what they wrote so I assume this person did not write how the state of the book was.

Not sure what I do now? email her? The thing is, what can she do? she did send it all the way from Canada and it cost her 7.52.

Is it readable? I'd give her 0 instead of -1 if it's readable. I'd explain the conditions there in feedback.

I'd do what cheesy said. Leave neutral feedback (which will appear bold/red in her history) and explain that I wouldn't mooch the book if condition info has been provided.

Oooo it's good to be back, it's been a loooong time since I checked in here and it's all changed around, very snazzy.

How long should I wait?

I sent a book to the Netherlands from the US early November. I emailed the moocher earlier last week and it still hasn't shown up. I've never had a book get lost on bookmooch so I don't know what to do next. Do I hit the "Lost" button. Will the receiver get the pts back then? Or should I try to find another copy?

momx3 - the person will get their points back. It happens, don't worry about finding a replacement. It really doesn't mean that much and doesn't look bad on your account. Sometimes it can't be helped. You get to keep all your points too - because the system trusts you sent it.

I would give it a bit longer yet if you sent it surface, wait til the end of Feb.
