So.... 
I am looking for any help, insight, suggestions etc and I thought I would start here because the internet is either not helping or seems too complicated and questions about book related stuff is a BO.com thing 
I work in a Kindergarten. Have been working with kids in Kindergarten (and of other ages) for over 15 years now. I always used the same old songs, you know, the nursery rhymes and the typical head, shoulders, knees and toes but it starts getting boring. I have found more songs over the years but I have to say it hasn't been easy to find something new. fun and exactly what I want. Also some English songs are to hard to teach to children who have Gerrman as a first language. A few years ago my boss encouraged me to start learning guitar and so I taught myself the basics. Although I am not the best player the kids love it and I do too. Over the years my playing has progressed into me writing my own songs.
This is where the help comes in....
It seems really stupid to have all these songs (I write on average one a month sometimes more if I need something for a special topic) and not to share them. However on the other hand I am not sure if I want to just give them away for free
It was suggested that I make a book. Although how I should go about this hasn't really come to light yet. I can't seem to find a publisher that specifically wants children's songs. I have no idea how self-publishing works and I am not sure if just putting them on a website text/music file style to download is the best option.
So any information or suggestions that anyone can offer me would be extremely helpful. I thank you all in advance for just reading this and of course for replying Actually I hope this post just makes sense because it has been a long day
