A bit of the audio and a bit of the ebook on a Day 16. I wasn’t really into reading. I did watch some TV, but not DS9, I watched 3 episodes of a new Canadian show called Transplant. It’s a medical drama and so far I like it a lot. I’m caught up, at episode 10. It’s on every Wednesday and I had 2 recorded and watched the 3rd live with commercials! Haven’t done that in a long while. It felt strange

Ok, so I messed up and downloaded the wrong audiobook. I listened to "The Flying Flamingo Sisters" instead of the The Mystwick School of Musicraft". I have started listening to Musicraft now. Audible gives free "Audible Originals" away each month. When they started this, the books were really good, but the last few months, they have not been worth the download. That's what I thought of "The Flying Flamingo Sisters" and "Sea Wall". I hope this one is better.
What a shame.. the titles are quite fun.KathyB wrote: ↑May 08, 2020Ok, so I messed up and downloaded the wrong audiobook. What did you think of the Art of Purring?
The Mystwick one is pretty good so far.Kiri wrote: ↑May 08, 2020What a shame.. the titles are quite fun.KathyB wrote: ↑May 08, 2020Ok, so I messed up and downloaded the wrong audiobook. Art of Purring is book 2 of the Dalai Lama's Cat books and I have read and loved both of them. I have the next 2 books on my wish list.
Kathy... thanks!
While perusing new books I ran across this.. it's the beginning of the book desciption (it's a sci fi novel..) "Written by a highly regarded expert on space travel and exploration," Uh.. yeah... (sarcasm intended) cause we do SO much of that on this planet. This guy is a novelist - not an astronaut. (seriously I looked at his profile.. not a thing to do with space workwise. Prior to his novels, he was a street reporter for a small hometown paper in the SE USA) This got passed on faster than the speed of light. I don't know who writes a lot of these descriptions but they need to be better at it.
I seem to be in a mood this afternoon...

Moving along with my books. I may even finish them by the end of the rat!
I had the TV on, playing in the background, not watching anything in particular. I slept a bit on the sofa in the evening, I guess I was tired. Or bored. It’s been cold these past few days, (frost warnings for overnight!) so no one’s going out much. It’s gloomy and sad. I hope we get this cold spell over with soon so the sun can bring some smiles to everyone.
