I was surprised that people were already reported.
As I understood it you only do that when you really cannot solve it between you and the other person.

On the other hand, I do not know what was said so I can't really judge but I hope people will try to solve there problems themselves before they go and knock on the mods door, if that is possible of course.

I would appreciate that if someone complains about me, I am told.
Preferably by the person who is annoyed of course but if that is not do-able then by a mod.

I am also one when I feel hurt I speak up and say what is on my mind. show my feelings and not in a pm. Maybe that is wrong?

Yeah, I think usually people do resolve things between themselves and that's the way it should be. But sometimes people get carried away....

Definitely any individual who gets a complaint about them will be told and given opportunity to state their side of things!

And there's nothing wrong with what you've done in the past - most things can be worked out in PM's or right in the forum in the thread where the issue arises. As I said, things escalating beyond that will be a very rare occurence.

Don't worry about things - continue on as ever - nothing is really different!

Some of you may have noticed I'm not swapping. I'd like you all to know that this is for financial reasons & not because I'm having a dummy-spit over the new guidelines . I'll be taking myself out of the vbb's too once someone takes all my books

I'm finding myself reading through reams of swap pages just to get a bit of a fix

I'm not as active around here as I used to be, but I would like to add that the little bit of time I do spend around here (and in the past on Bookrelay) has been sufficient for me to see various disputes arise that would warrant creating a loose TOS. I don't feel like anything has been done "behind the scenes." Even as a sporadic visitor, I saw it coming.

I'd also like to add that this site is very visible on search engines, and even in the short time it's been active, I've seen many new faces come and go. Just like society in general, you're going to turn up a bad seed every now and then, even though the majority of us follow the rules. I, personally, like having the reassurance that if a problem ever does arise for me, I can consult a mod about it.

Thanks for trying to find a working solution for everyone, mods.

Giz I do not worry only about myself girl.

I worry about the future of this board mostly.

so many little arguments are popping up more and more, and those things keep coming back because there are really no rules about them or because of resentment toward each other.
