BookObsessed

I'm in I'm in!!! Thanks for posting on Facebook!

I am not able to do an update right now but I think I'll do it tonight when everyone else has gone to bed here at home.

YAY another RAT!

Finished "Black Tides of Heaven". The story was pretty good, but I did not like the narrator

Will probably read a couple more chapters of "Say Yes to the Death" later this evening, but that will probably be all for today.

I've listened to a bit more of The Vanishing Point, but not sure how much since RBdigital, my library's app of choice sucks!

Also read a little of If You Tell. I'm at 115/415  and will likely read a couple of chapters before I go to sleep tonight.

Back to work tomorrow, so less reading and more listening.

Right now I’m reading Cress (Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer. It’s been a few months because I have it on loan from the library through overdrive and I had to return it and request again because I ran out of time.

I’m listening to Snared (Elemental Assassin #16) by Jennifer Estep.

Both books are my choices for the August challenge in the hooked-on-books group at goodreads.
I’ll post covers on Monday afternoon/evening.

Yesterday I read three more stories in the short story collection Holding Wonder by Zenna Henderson.

Today I will be doing a lot of online training for work. So, I will be reading but not necessarily fun stuff...

I"m reading my prize from the last RaT:

Flash update..

Finished
Star Trek: New Frontier #2 Into the Void by Peter David  (Audiobook)

Mort (Discworld #4)  by Terry Pratchett   (BBC Audio Drama)   Excellent!
Geoffrey Whitehead who plays Death is fantastic, and his voice reminds me of Alan Rickman

Wyrd Sisters  (Discworld #6)  by Terry Pratchett   (BBC Audio Drama)   Really Good!

In Progress
All Our Broken Idols by Paul M. M. Cooper       (Ebook)  HF Set in Assyria

The Many Lives of John Stone by Linda Buckley-Archer  (Ebook)  Time Travel / HF (France Sun King)

Finished:        It was kind of like watching a slightly edgy, jaded Hallmark movie.          *need a smirky emoticon here*

Now starting:
  The cover art is unique!

still working on the same 2 books.  Almost finished with my audio. The Kindle book is harder because it's so harsh.

I listened to several hours of "The Truths We Hold". Very good book, but listening to the section on how immigrant children have been treated by this country was very hard to listen to. I took a break and watched a few episodes of 'Big Bang Theory." Will read a couple of chapters of "Say Yes to the Death" before going to bed.
