This is like the 3rd or 4th time in the last few years that I've started "Dandelion Wine" and I still don't like it. I've listened to about 4 hours of it and I'm determined to finish it this time, but this is not the Bradbury I am used to reading.

I would like the iced tea please.

I finished the Call the Midwives series on audio. Still reading the kiva book.

Also started on

Yeah don't laugh... I almost gave up on the first 15 min... Edward was so obnoxious, whiny and all that I was like, do I want to waste 20 hours of my life? But it kind of grow on me.

I finished "Dandelion Wine" and wound up sort of liking it. I have started "Starless Sea" by Erin Morgenstern.

Ok.. I've updated the prize list!  Winners, please go pick if you haven't already.

I need to update the spreadsheet.. but I'm exhausted.  (fyi I caught something about two weeks ago - not covid - and am now sans voice.  Hopefully it'll come back soon, but I've just had to muddle though with the pandemic stuff.  Also it is very hard to call dr's offices when you HAVE NO VOICE. *rolls eyes*  Finally got that thru to them via email (they have a secure communications portal for patients.. which I'm very glad of as an advancement.)  I also got kudos from the doc for not turning up with a fever.. but without a preset appt, they wouldn't have let me in anyway. *gestures*     And just now my electric tea kettle has decided to die...       ok enough prattle..

Lastly for this post.. would anyone want an October / Halloween RAT?   I've had fun hostessing, and though we might take a week's break and start on the 5th?  I have interesting ideas for prizes...   (Can you tell I'm getting into this RAT thing?)

LOL!    I'm finding some books are better as audios.. I've put down several text versions only to find the audios are bearable.
