:run:   Catching up  - I see I have missed a few things!

Still reading Rin Tin Tin  :dog:   - I'm finding it interesting, there is much I did not know about this old time famous dog.

I see I have won another prize - (in advance too, but I missed that!) - doesn't seem quite like I deserve another one but well, okay, thank you very much!  I'd like a print book please.  I do read e-books but I get to my print books faster and well, I just love the paper and ink!  I know, so old school ..

I also vote YES to a Halloween RAT.     :werewolf:    Of course!

Well, just spent yesterday evening in the ER and last night and all day today in a hospital room. My husband helped one of my son's work on a house Saturday and Sunday and let himself get so dehydrated that he got disoriented and almost passed out. Thank goodness he was not still on a ladder or the roof of the garage when it happened. Garrett was able to get him in the car and drive him to the nearest ER. He threw up in my son's new car (have offered to have it detailed cleaned). What a night and day :( I'm tired. I also forgot to take reading material with me so I read my emergency book on my iPhone and finished it. I also started "For Pete's Sake" and driving back from the hospital, I started listening to a Molly Harper book I had on pre-order from Audible.

My Emergency read:            My next read:                      Started listening to:

Kiri sent me a copy of . I don't remember what recomendation added that to my wishlist, but it looks fantastic!

I finished the Virgin River show on Netflix. It was *Meh* I found myself disliking all the character changes made, and some for no good reasons. Especially disappointing was how they changed Paige's and Dan Brody's backstories and added more to the relationship between Jack and Charmaine.  I did like all of he actors chosen for  the roles, the scenery was amazingly beautiful, and they did a good job of flashbacks to show character's pasts.

But, I kept thinking about the books as they were written. Robyn Carr's stories were engaging and good the way she wrote them. I found myself on bookmooch  mooching books from the series that I haven't read yet.

fwiw I mainly enjoyed the scenery of the show.  I haven't read the books, but will admit the storyline fo the show was a trifle thin at points.  Still it was something good to have on as I did other tasks. (you know.. bills, sorting, etc)
