I had a nice day. I went on a walk, did some shopping and took an afternoon coffee break all by myself so I can relax and not think of anything! I had a chocolate croissant, too.

Tuesday will be back to normal.

BTW I received this in the mail yesterday, not sure if one of you send it to me?
Sender name is Melissa Morgan from Georgia, whom I don't recognize. No BCID inside so it's a mystery.

Now starting:
  The cover art is unique!
Ever find anything interesting in a book?  This is a used trade paperback but not a BC book.  I have found some interesting "artifacts" in the book that do give it some history though.

The inside cover has a name, street address (no city) & phone number (no area code).  It does have the date of Nov 17, 1997.
Next I found a receipt from the Eaton Restaurant, Polo Park.  They had the Promo combo and a pot of tea.  They got 10% off as a senior discount.  Since there's GST & PST on the receipt, I'm thinking it must be somewhere in Canada.  The date is Aug 12, 1997.

Finally I found a note with three physical therapy exercises, which appear to promote arm/shoulder/elbow flexibility.  This has no date but the heading is the name of a Physiotherapy Clinic in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

This author is from Winnipeg, so it makes sense that her book would start its life there.

Kinda fun to put together a few things about a previous reader!  Another reason (for me) to love physical books.   :reading:

I finished "The Truths We Hold" (awesome book!) and started listening to "The Cemetery Girl #1: The Pretenders"

I finished a non fiction book for an upcoming birthday partner so won't mention the title.

Holding Wonder is amazingly good. But I tend to try and read her books slowly as to stretch out the experience.

Yesterday I read volume 1 of Imadoki! Which is a super cute high school drama manga. Today's a day at the center preparing for the return of students, so I will be putting Volume 2 in my bag for lunchtime reading.

I finished listening to "The Pretenders" and began the second book in the series "The Inheritance".

Several hours later: I finished "The Inheritance" and started listening to "Haunted"
