Hi - haven't checked in for a few days. I was in Wimberley, TX to attend the wedding of one of my husband's nephews. Nice, very crowded with tourists, little town that has all these little specialty stores and restaurants. Our B&B was a block off the town square (where all the shops were), so we didn't have to search out parking. The wedding was outside right beside the river. Beautiful place for a wedding.

Listened to "Royal Assassin" in the car going and coming. It is over 29 hours long, so I still have a lot to go. Did not get any actual reading done, just listening.

Elengil and I finished Hail Mary by Andy Weir. It was good, but not what I expected.

We started listening to Shade's Children by Garth Nix. I'm still reading Bay of Sighs by Nora Roberts.

I finally finished "The Last Librarian". I probably will not read the next books in the series. I've started reading my prize book, "The Lost Colony of Roanoke: New Perspectives" by Brandon Fullam. I'm still listening to "Royal Assassin" by Robin Hobb. Only 4 hours left, so maybe I'll finish it up today.

I finished listening to "Royal Assassin" yesterday and started listening to the last book in the trilogy, "Assassin's Quest". It is 37 hours long, so it should take me well into November, if not the rest of the year, to listen to that one. I plan on listening to "The Best Halloween Ever" (1 hour-33 mins) by Barbara Robinson today. I try to listen to it every Halloween as it is one of my favorite Halloween stories.
