I'm taking it from the silence that no one else is planning (trying) to schedule the Dublin Convention? I'm having trouble lining things up with a single occupancy (everything assumes 2 people)! Anyhow, if anyone is going, let me know and I'll bring a Yankee swap book. Otherwise, I'm traveling light coming and going from this Convention. B-)
Never have been to Ireland. Wish I could go, but I am taking a work-related course right now that will tie me up for a while.
Have fun there!!

I would love to go but instead I am going to try to go to my niece's wedding in Spain in October.
Spain sounds much more exotic and romantic! I finally have 90% of things lined up. Of course, my flight from Reagan DC to JFK in NY is on Pinnacle, which declared bankruptcy today. My luck!!
I did a first run look at the numbers and this is definitely an expensive trip. I can completely understand the cost being prohibitive, and I'm not going on the really expensive tours they had available. The rental car rules are outrageous in this country! That said, I decided to treat myself since I really didn't go anywhere last year and didn't have to pay to attend the DC convention.
I'll take lots of pictures and think fondly of my BookObsessed friends while over there. Alas, with weight limits, I'll be lucky to bring home just a handful of books.
