I've signed up for the Birthday Exchange I suppose I should fill this in.

Food: I love trying new foods. I like cooking and willing to try something provided some instructions are given. Soup is a favourite of mine, although that may be difficult to send! Please check out the allergy below. Also like different teas.

Candy: I like chocolate more than hard sweets. Like food, I'm willing to try most things.

Colors: I wear lots of blue or green, and these are reflected in the house. Maybe I should diversify.

Music: I'm a classic rock fan with a hint of swing. Favourites being Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones. Modern tastes include Amy Winehouse, Orson, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand. A mix CD of your favourites would be great, it's a chance to get to know another bookcrosser. Any other recommendations are greatfully received.

Scent: Spices, Christmas, or Aqua, Sea Scent

Playthings: Anything that uses my brain would be great. I love crosswords, sudoku and other puzzles of the sort. Bookmarks always welcome as are bookcrossing labels (homemade are great).

Hobbies: I'm a geocacher and anything that can be used for that would be great. This includes swap items, key rings, pens, notepads, small things to swap or make my own box to hide. Apart from reading I also enjoy audiobooks and PC. I go to the cinema about once a month. I enjoy walking anything that can be used for that.

Other: I'll put this in only as extra ideas. If your in the US and can pass on a parcel from your place then I love Big Dogs wear, especially Boxer Shorts (with the embroidered bit on the crotch) and Lounge pants. Size XXL.

OK -- I joined the 2008 Birthday swap which had a suggestion that we post our favorites in this thread, therefore I am doing so. I'm using the template that ctgmom provided in the first post in this thread.

Elsi's Favorites:

Food: Rice, veggies, Chinese, Mexican, cheese, fruits
Candy: Chocolate, peanut butter cups, chocolate, SweetTarts, chocolate. Oh, and did I mention chocolate?
Colors: Earth tones: rust, ginger, sage, etc.
Music: My very favorite is Classical, particularly choral. Otherwise, I'm quite eclectic in my choices as long as there is a melody. (In other words, I don't call shouting into a microphone music.)
Scent: Not much. Very fragile scents - vanilla, lavender, etc.
Hobbies: Reading (duh!), computer solitaire & Sudoku, digital scrapbooking
Collections: I collect post cards from various places around the world. Mail me one or just send an unused one.

Book Wishlist: at Cliff's BCWishList which is not very current 'cause I ought to add a lot more books to it; and a very short wishlist at BookMooch I mostly read mysteries and science fiction. I'm also really fond of reading books from other countries which aren't imported or printed in the USA.

Here are some of my favorites:

Food & candy: sour gummy candies like watermellon, apple, etc, licorice but not black, not a big fan of chocolate (now everybody don't pass out - you know I'm a little different with my limb slashing and all) except chocolate covered carmel or peanut butter cups. Regular food I love cheese and fruit.
Colors: Bold colors, purple but not lavender
Music: Country, some jazz, some blues, some classical
Scents: spicey, watermellon, coconut, lime
Hobbies: Other than reading , hand embroidery, ceramics, quilting, and I want to get started making my own jewelry
Collections: Only thing I collect is craft stuff
Allergies: None reallly but strong floral scents bother me and anything with Splenda in it gives me a horrible headache
Children: My dogs of course. Right now I have a 3 legged beagle that is 3 mos old and just had his amputation a week ago, Kinzie my 1 y/o Boxer and Lucy a recent rescued Staffie

genre's Historical Romance and Historical Fiction, Ghost stories.

Food: I like Italian, Asian, Greek, Seafood, Love anything pumpkin or cranberry. I love Chai, flavored coffee's and latte's. (Hint, Hint: if you use k cups I would love to try some new flavors)

Candy:Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate, Different flavors of fudge, chocolate covered cherries, raisins and/or cranberries. (No nuts or coconut please.)

Colors:Lavendar, sage green, powder blue, pink and fall colors.

Music:Hmm...a little of everything I guess but I especially like Celtic, Blues, Jazz. Also love to hear soundscapes (as in thunder, ocean, brook, birds, insects, ect.).

Scent:Lavendar, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, clove, sage.

Playthings:Computer, photo editing program, my digital cameras, sewing and coloring books.

Hobbies:Reading (what else ), photography, sewing, bird watching, cryptograms, marble collecting, coloring books for adults (have a wishlist on Amazon).

Clothing: Wool knee socks (please make sure they are quite long in the leg), fingerless gloves, winter baby clothes for a girl size 6 - 9 months or 9 - 12 months.

I especially love lavender soaps w/lavender flowers in it, marbles (glass or clay), handmade beaded or braided bracelets, ornaments and unusual fabrics.

Food: I love Logan's Steakhouse(favorite restaraunt), O'Charley's and chinese.

Favorite candy is hershey's hugs cause i LOVE white chocolate also really like toffee and peanutbutter cups.

I love music especially pop, r&b and rap I don't really buy many cd's anymore.

scent: i'm allergic to most perfumes(i can wear lotion) but i love hazelnut/coffee and cinnamon candles or tarts and anything coconut, and i love Bath and Bodyworks Chocolate amber shower gel and lotion or their cherry blossom stuff.

My dislikes are candy with nuts and anything that smells like lavender, roses or vanilla.

I'm married and have a 7 year old daughter.
Also have a dog(maltese named Lucky) and a cat(ragdoll named Romeo).

I'm hoping to get pregnant this year so there are two plus sized pregnancy books i really want but don't seem to pop up on bookmooch.

As I am on the Birthday exchange and the St. Valentines Exchange I guess I should fill out this too

Food: I love pizza, pasta, ice-cream. I like drinking coffee (especially flavoured ones or latte machiatto / capuccino) and tea.
Candy: chocolate, winegums. I especially love the almond m&ms as we don't have them here.
Colors: red, light brown, my favourite colour used to be blue and I still like wearing it but I just got sick of it as a colour in the appartment. I prefer warmer eath tone colours there at the moment.
Music: I quit buying a lot of CDs years ago. Just buy one or two a year. I mainly listen to the radio. I like Bon Jovi, REM, Robbie Williams, Depeche Mode but sometimes classical music, too.
Scent: Vanilla, Cookies, Honey
Playthings: I like listening to audiobooks, I always like to get new workout dvds (fitness, pilates, whatever), I love candles, fridge magnets and I collect tea caddies - on those or other things I love cats, light houses or books of course. I also like BC supplies, self-made labels, bookmarks and bath foams.

Food:I'n not a picky eater (but no Lima or Pinto beans please!)I like cashews and pecans as far as nuts go (well and my husband but he's not a food) With teenagers in the house a favorite fare here is pizzas. I myself enjoy a nice juicy steak and a night out now and then. Which I do once a month on my Girls Nite Out. As far as "packable" treats I like Little Debbie and granola bar type things, chips, cheetos, gardetto's, buggles, etc. I'm not too fussy and like trying new things.

Drinks: Cappacino mix (french Vanilla is all I've ever had- my brother got me hooked! and my May Day Exchange Partner:CndBluRose has got me hooked on Dark Chocolate---YUMMY!)

Candy:Snickers, Turtles, Caramellos, hard suck on candy not so much peppermints though, those Frootie flavored tootsie rolls My faves are the blue raspberry and grape,

Colors: To wear I like Red & Black. I am mostly a jeans and t-shirt (Med/Lg) or tank top kind of girl unless I'm going out on the town. I love funky socks and have all colors and designs.

Music:Country is my normal listening but I like some older Rock too. (Bon Jovi, Journey, Great White, Poison)

Scent:I love almost any scent candles and always have one burning but do not wear perfume.

Playthings:My bunnies. I spend alot of time with them. Funky pens(and socks), note pads and sticky notes to take with to the barn to keep track of breedings and birthdays.

Hobbies:We raise and show bunnies. One of our breeds (the Silver Fox) is listed as critical on the endangered list. I work on promoting and showing the breed. I came in second in the state last year and am very proud of that accomplishment.

I love working on my quilts and all the kids know a quick, easy, cheap gift is to go down to the Walmart and pick out a couple yards of their $1.00 fabric to give to me. It's neat to see what they pick out for me!

Reading is a favorite passtime too (OF COURSE!!!!) I enjoy romance(contemporary is probably my favorite sub-catagory), mystery and my all time favorite Romantic Suspenses have both. I enjoy paranormal but not so much gruesome vampire types, And after 9 years of marriage the romance isn't as hot so I enjoy a good smutty erotica now and then too

I also enjoy baking so choc. chips, sprinkles and cookie decorating paraphenela is also used quite regularly at my house.

I dislike hard bound books too as they are hard to hold in my hands and I HAVE to take a book with me wherever I go and they just don't fit in my purse.

Food: Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Indian, Mexican and Portuguese. I love french fries, salads, chocolate, cheese and tea (black or cinnamon in particular, but I like pretty much every flavor).

Candy: Milk chocolate of any kind, except probably with licor within. I don't like dark chocolate so much or white chocolate in big quantities. Also love gums and caramel and pretty much everything else. I'm easily pleased when it comes to candies.

Colors: Black, Purple, Blue, Dark Red and terracotta colors (warm yellows, browns, etc.).

Music: A little bit of everything. I'm a fan of Pop, Rock (I'm starting to find an appreciation for gothic rock too), Classical, Folk, Celtic and even a bit of Metal. I'm fascinated with rock/metal fusions with classical orchestras (like Metallica, Within Temptation and Scorpions did).

Scent: I'm easily pleased and I like a lot of scents. Floral, fruity, sandalwood, cinnamon, etc. I love scented candles and incense sticks.

Playthings: My computer, DVDs, my MP3 player, bookmarks, labels, all sorts of pretty things to decorate the house/room. I have a thing for mythical creatures (dragons, unicorns, gryffons, etc.)

Food: of course I like chocolate, & cheese, why are they both so fattening? I eat all cuisines but don't eat fish or seafood, ice cream!

Candy: I'm off candy, except fudge, I do enjoy a nice piece of fudge, or 3. I love caramel too but can't eat it atm because I've recently had braces installed.

Colors: blue is my favourite, but I love red, purple, orange & green too
