GG is that a different url than what is on zoho?

If not make a JE that it is mailed I can set it mailed on zoho. Not sure if you can??? and then you should be off the list. :bananadance:

About Caligula. All her books are set mailed besides one.

I have asked her to let me know more about this book.

Book of Choice caligula03 mellonhead Scifi and Fantasy relay, for the rest of the world 05/02/08
It is a Book of Choice thingy.

So this means we database mods can't see if those books were mailed cause we do not have a title.

I must say I think that these kind of relays should change. People could pm wss4 (if she is cool with that?) for instance with the info on which book was decided on. the book of choice is a bit to vague

There are quite a lot of Book of Choice in the database.

If you look back in the relay for the "book of choice" books you can see (most times) what the person asked the other person to choose between. It would be time consuming to look through all the books if links aren't given but I suppose it could be done.

ETA: I only see 11 "book of choice" books in the owed category.

ETA again: I was able to change two of the book of choices to actual books.

I'm keeping the same BCID for the replacement book, as the original is lost somewhere in my house (I'm willing to bet) and I can give it a different BCID whenever I find it. I hadn't put the bookplate in yet, anyway, so it's not a big deal. So, yes, you have the right URL, Marlene :D I'll update the journal tomorrow and post here, too. I was unable to make it to the post office today (I stayed home sick from work and school with the kids also home sick from school and The GateKeeper, who was also sick, went to work and took our only vehicle! ) I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and must buy some groceries, so I will be forced to leave tomorrow, and will have zzz's parcel in the post then. Like I said, I'll post here when it happens.

Joy (chambejd) is in charge of the relays here, so if any changes were to be discussed about how they're currently handled, they should be run thru her. :)

PS - I see now she's already replied here on that, but I just thought I should still point it out that she's our Relay Moderator.

Hi, I am really trying to get off this list and am mailing off books monthly. Every once in awhile I run into a snag. I am just finishing The Girls for Flicki, I have sent two PMs over the last week and have not caught her online yet. What do I do? Keep trying?

Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong thread.

Boomda, try pming Marlene - I know she heard from Flicki recently and she had moved and was working some very long hours and not getting online much. I don't know if she gave Marlene a new address - but Marlene might have more info. If that is a dead end, pm me or one of the other mods and we can put that book into "hold" status until someone manages to contact Flicki - we don't want to hold it against anyone when a member is out of touch.... :)

I just finished reading "The Year My Life Went Down the Loo" for Elsi, and it will be in the mail on Monday.

ETA: Also finished reading "City of Ember" for Cheesy. That will be in the post for her on Monday, too.

Also: Krin511 has a copy of Water for Elephants RABCKed to her by another bookcrosser, not myself. What happens now ?

I've moved caligula03 down to the INACTIVE members list as she's made it clear she won't be back. However, as she is refusing to help in giving accurate info so we can update the database properly, we need her to stay on the list. Thanks for trying, Marlene!
