Could someone please explain why the wishlist there is so great? I have found it very cumbersome to add books so far. Perhaps I am doing something wrong or in a clunky way? If I am drooling over a friend's list, is there a way for me to click on a book and add it to my wishlist directly? Thanks in advance! I'm sure as I try to plod through there some more, I'll come up with more questions... ;)
Go here http://www.goodreads.com/shelf/edit
then go down to the wishlist tag. Click make exclusive. Then when you see a book you like click add to my books buttons and a drop down comes up. Click the wishlist one. :)

I like it because it if you click on a book, it will tell you who of your friends has it or has it on their wishlist there.

I am so behind the times!! Glad you all are here to catch me up!

Now if I could just see a movie in a theatre once in a while (or even hear about them) I may start to re-enter pop culture! :giggle:

So I asked on Goodreads bookswap if Bookcrossing books were okay, and the answer I got back was yes, just please let people know that they are BC books as some people like them and some don't. So that made me investigate a little more, as I hadn't seen a place to comment on the condition other than the drop down menu. What I discovered is that they have already provided a box for you to put the BCID number in! How cool is that?

Cool, Shaunie! Have you swapped any books on there yet? I was a little nervous to do it, don't ask me why.

Just want to highlight something new and fun over at Goodreads.

There's now a way to compare specific shelves between two users. This is great if you use goodreads and want to see what you have that's on someone else's wishlist. Now I can compare my to-read shelf with someone's wishlist shelf.

If you go to your friends list, and click on "compare books" you can now pick which shelves you want to compare...

Awesome! Yet another reason to have a goodreads wishlist.
