Horror VBB Bookbox Rules:
- I will post a list of books and the order of the box participants.
- The next round will begin on the 13th of every OTHER month following the end of play.
- New participants are welcome and can join at any time! If we are in the middle of a round, they will be added to the end of the list.
- The list of participants will be randomized at the end of every 3rd round. (Randomized Jan. 2010; next: at end of May 2010)
- Each person may take as many books out of the box as they want; however, you must put in the same number of books as you remove. This means that you will be responsible for shipping the number of books that you have put in. You control how many books you are willing to ship by only taking out/putting in that number of books.
- Play may continue perpetually. You can choose to skip your turn by not taking any books out of the box and passing the turn on to the next person.
- This is a horror book box.
Please only put in books marked as such (although very closely related books are acceptable). Asterisks are used to indicate how many rounds a book has been in the bookbox. To Be Reads (TBR) are okay but should be marked as such! - You have 48 hours from the time the person before you posts their move in the thread to make your move. If you haven't made your move in that amount of time, you may be moved to the end of the list. If you know you're going to be away from your computer for a few days during play, let us know so we can arrange to move you to another point on the list.
- Once you've taken your turn, please PM the next person on the list. If you can't PM them for some reason, please say so when you post your move, so someone else can!
- Please use the Owed Books Database to update the status of books you owe.
- Participants have 6 months to mail owed books. Participant may play only if all owed books from 6 months (or longer) ago are mailed prior to the start of play. Players who still owe books from 6 months or longer will be marked with a @ and will be only allowed to replace, not remove, books, during that round of play.
I forgot that this VBB was supposed to start on the 13th and that I was first. I won't have time this morning to take my turn so the next in line can go ahead and I will be back this afternoon after work. 
Gotham, if you're able to take a breather from the hectic craziness of moving, go ahead and take your turn. If you're able to send your replacements to someone on FB, go ahead. I can't help out there since I check FB less frequently than anything else!
