Sorry for the delay in getting back in touch on this. Had PantheaCon last weekend, at which I stayed on-site 4 days and troupe performed on sat nite there, then came back home to catch Mike's bug, which I didn't catch before since I rarely catch cold/flu/bugs, but combined with con crud... ummm yeah I'm a snotty, stuffed up, sneezing and coughing mess!
Anyhoo, my thoughts are thus, based on input from y'all. Otherwise known as The Ramblings of a Medicated Mind
For leaving a couple forums open, let's make that the 1 or 2 in the Support Section: Site News & Announcements (mod started subjects only) and/or Feedback, Suggestions, Problems (this one, more discussion oriented and thread can be started by any member).
We'll make a couple sticky posts in one or both of said forums about how to reset a forgotten password and/or contact one of the mods/admins if necessary, including publication of admin(at)bookobsessed and/or mod/s(at)bookobsessed email addresses. **
Also, maybe an overview post, also stickied in the Site News forum about the purpose, play, and how to of the different areas of our forum. This would also serve to give guests/potential members a little more info about the site, esp the parts that are now locked behind the member wall. If anyone would be willing and able to write something up for this, that'd be awesome.
In our intro text (that paragraph I pasted before that Meshe quoted above), we can then direct guests to those posts for more information, and not have to make the Intro overly wordy.
** Confirm email addresses for all mods/admins on admin and mod/s(at)bookobsessed mailing relay lists. Also remove addresses of mods from list that are no longer active or avail to help.
