I don't know if the verification widget was added by one of our admins or by the site that provides our forum, but it's not a very good one. Rather than simply providing a word or phrase like the typical "capcha" verification/anti-spam widgets, this one makes you start an ad (with audio, no less!) in order to see the phrase you must key before sending an e-mail.

It would be nice if our admins could replace this one with something that is less intrusive.

It wasn't me! And I know Cherie hasn't been on here to do it either. Must have been the site that provides the forums.
