I really didn't participate in the RAT how I had planned. It's been a bad few weeks for me mentally. I've not been in a good place and then last week our Director of food nad nutrition and one of our surgeon's succumbed to COVID-19. I'm not front line working with Covid patients but have been exposed multiple times. I'm scared and I'm angry. I'm also in Georgia so you can only imagine the political ads we're being bombarded with. Early voted Friday so that's set. Hoping everyone else is doing better than me and that your holidays are full of joy.
I'm so sorry Meshe. Until the last couple of months, I had not personally known anyone who had the virus. Now I know several and a few resulting in deaths. I can't imagine working everyday with the reminder of how bad this virus really is. And what Kathy said! (she said it so well). The holidays can be difficult anyway and with this total train-wreck of a year, it is so hard, especially with an emotionally-demanding job.

Dear Meshe, I can only imagine how tough it must be for you. I don't work in the medical field but for the past few weeks there's someone who fall sick where I work almost on a daily basis. (It was like this back in the second wave and then it was fine for a while). Things are only going to get worse for a while before it improves. I hope Meshe you will be able to get vaccine. Over here, the governor has announced that the elderlies will get priority over healthcare worker. While I do want to keep our aged population safe I feel that it's easier for them to stay safe at home, whereas healthcare workers do not have that option, and we do need them to stay well more than ever.

I'm obviously easily amused this afternoon..
So I took a few minutes to peruse some titles..got sidetracked (as usual) and ran into this author/series.. The titles are a scream (no idea if the books are any good)
