ETA - Dammit, I fucked up anyway.... looks like my guess was in for Friday night instead of Saturday. Grrrr![]()

I forgot to take into account the Easter weekend would probably dramatically slow down the # of new books posted with peeps doing other things.![]()
They're passed the 1,995,000 mark now, so they won't be taking any more guesses.

I could've sworn it was here that Mysterious had a problem transaction that she was having trouble getting resolved. Though I can't find anything about it in this thread in the last few pages.... (maybe it was mentioned outside of here or maybe it wasn't even mysterious...)
In any case, I came across this new procedure regarding problem transactions in the latest newsletter, with a link to the Help topic and thought I'd post it here.

PBS won't let me order a book more than once at a time. I'm sending them as gifts to colleagues. If I send you the book ISBN and a credit, can I get someone to order a book on my behalf and have it shipped to someone directly? Talk about stupid. LOL... email me if you are willing! candytx@gmail.com
Someone is doing this for me... thanks!
Just a small rant...someone posted one of my wishlist books in the system recently, and I had no credits. I wanted this book, so I PayPaled some credits and ordered it within 30 minutes after the book was posted. The next day, I get an email saying they can't mail it because they don't have the money. THE NEXT DAY!!! If you don't have the money to send, don't post the books!! Argh!!
Oh that bites. I would probably report that to TPTB cuz I'm spiteful like that. Next time though, post here or PM me and I'll lend ya a credit.. so you don't have to buy credits
I also check the Bazzar over thee when I need credits cuz someone is usually selling them cheap.

I only use the site for ordering and posting, so I don't see any of the other stuff going on.candieb wrote: Oh that bites. I would probably report that to TPTB cuz I'm spiteful like that. That happened to me THREE TIMES -- with the SAME DAMN BOOK FROM THE SAME DAMN MEMBER.Breeni wrote: Just a small rant...someone posted one of my wishlist books in the system recently, and I had no credits. I complained and TPTB at PBS shrugged.
Really, I'm quite fed up with the trading sites right now.
Okay, here's my question for you guys:
I just got a copy of a 2007-pubbed book with a broken spine. There's no way I'll relist it once I've read it; the pages are just too close to falling out.
Is this worth complaining over? Is it against the rules?

With PBS though I don't know if that's against the rules. Since you can't list the condition.
