I haven't finished a book yet so I can't mark any as the first book of the year, but maybe tonight

Yep - January 31
I finished my "short appointment read" this morning because I had another long wait for a doctors appointment yesterday and was so close to finishing that I read the rest this morning. I have not decided on my next appointment read.  I also finished my audiobook listen "The Accidental Alchemist #6: The Alchemist of Riddle & Ruin".  I'll probably start book #7: "Alchemist of Monsters & Mayhem"

Not Another Christmas Rom Com by A.J. Pine (audiobook)

I am halfway through the short story Charmed Waters by Carrie Vaughn (e-book) and almost halfway done Mr. and Mrs. Christmas by Michelle Simpson (audiobook).

I started The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid (paperback).

My weekend was busy, I went to brunch with friends to celebrate the new year on Saturday and Sunday/Monday I was at church for service and celebration, and volunteering. Today I stayed home because it was cold out and I didn't need to be anywhere. It started snowing in the evening and it will continue all day Wednesday so it looks like it's another home day. Yay, more time to read!

I finished "Christmas Magic" last night. I'm not sure what to think of this one. It was full of very, very short stories, some about Christmas, some not. I didn't really see anything magical about it. Sort of liked it, sort of didn't. BUT on to my next adventure.  I think my next adventure will by "Solaris" by Stanishaw Lem.

And I just finished it 20 minutes ago. A fun read indeed!

I finished listening to "Accidental Alchemist #7: Alchemist of Monsters & Mayhem". I'm going to listen next:  Accidental Alchemist #8: Alchemist of Brushstrokes & Brimstone.  Decided to sideline my appointment read "The Big Time" in favor of "Two Women Walk into a Bar"
