Hi all! I have reviewed several books by John Lawson for Front Street, and he is looking for other bloggers/reviewers that would like to review for him. The more exposure the better, but if you don't have a blog or site, I could post it on Breeni Books for you and I'm sure Barb would love to have multiple perspectives on the books for Front Street. So if you are interested, let me know and I will have the author get in touch with you. I am posting links to my own reviews below.

The books are fantasy with a bit of sci-fi. They are really unique and I loved them.

I've been meaning to get into more fantasy novels, but didn't know where to start. Would this be a good place?

Hmmm.... let's see, Barb has contacted me before about reviewing for them but I just couldn't devote the time, and now with moving this year. Hmmm... I'm still interested, and paranormal and urban fantasy are pretty much the only genres I read... okay and a little bit of mystery too. So fill me in on what would be required, how many reviewed per month, etc. then maybe I can figure out if I can commit once I get my owed TBR down. I guess I just never asked Barb what was involved and what kind of commitment need to be made so I may as well ask you now.

Hmm.

Well, with everything that happened with my father over the holidays, I got behind on my reviews, and I'm really just now at the point where I'm starting to get to the writing of them. I have 5 owed (3 to Barb) and 4 of the books are read, and I'm planning on having at least 2 of them done this week, but I haven't taken any new assignments for the past month and a half for this reason - I don't want to take any more review commitments until I'm caught up.

So, I guess I'm interested in the books, but not for another couple of weeks because I don't want any more reviews until I write the ones I owe.

Whoa, where do I start, lol?

Gate Gypsy-If you will pm me with your email address, I will forward your info to the author. Do you have somewhere you can post the review or do you need me to do that for you?

Cherie-Wow, you are long winded this morning! Barb is pretty laid back, so just let her know that you're interested. She'll email you with some titles. You only take on what you feel comfortable with. If you only want one at a time, take one at a time. If you want more, trust me, Barb will send you all the books you can handle! I will pass your info on to the author and have him get in touch with you. This is a good place to start, a good way to get a feel for things and then you can decide how much you feel comfortable tackling for Barb.

Pepper-Just pm me with your email address whenever you feel you're caught up and I'll pass it on. I'm pretty sure there's no time limit on this.

Hi Breeni,
What do I need to do to give this a try. I love fantasy, romance and historical fiction.

I everybody! I am always looking for good, new reviewers.
After I accept you as a reviewer (I ask for sample reviews) I get a list of the genres you prefer. As I get book review requests in that genre I send the request to see if you are interested. If you are interested I have the requester send the book directly to you. I like the reviews within about two-three weeks if at all possible. Reviews should be at least 300 words, 500+ is great. The review should be short on synopsis of plot, more of a review of writing, characterization, plot devises and development, etc.
It is all fun and exciting to do. We get great feedback often from the authors.

I am most certainly interested. Please check out Terra's LiveJournal for my reviews. Just so you know I just started the page this week.
