For tpdx I choose Joe Hill: A Biographical novel. I chose this because it looks a very interesting story.

I finished it yesterday. I think I enjoyed it a little more than Lament. I wish she'd go back to this series and write Requiem. It's been 10 years so I doubt it. The last post I saw where she was working on it was 2013.

You have no idea how true for me this is right now!
And I agree, her books are fun to read. I picked one up at the pharmacy one time, and since then I check out what she publishes.
Thanks for choosing this one 🙂
And I’m done! Sped right through this one. Once again, a fun read. There is always something serious going on but there’s enough humor and background to make it balanced. This one had a couple of things that produced big eye rolls from me but it didn’t ruin the story. I’m glad I read it.

With that, I’m proud to say that I’m completely caught up in the Pick-it-for-Me!  Will wait for October now :)

I finally finished Joe Hill.  I can’t put my finger on why I had such a hard time getting through it.  This was early Stegner and I don’t think he had quite hit his stride yet.
