Has anyone heard of Swaptree? It's not only books but CDs, DVDs, and Video Games. Right now it's US only. :erm:

Video games! Awsome! But do I have to send Video Games to someone else first?

I signed up as well... and listed a couple of the movies I still have on my shelf over at SwapaDVD. Unfortunately, I think the way it works is that if someone has something you want, you must have something they want in order to get it. So it's like a direct trade system... or at least that's how it appears to me so far.

Actually, I've since done about 3 swaps thru swaptree. And the swaps work differently than how I assumed in my post above. Basically, my 3 transactions were all 3 way transactions, where I sent something of mine to someone who wanted it, but I received the item I wanted from a third party. Their swapping system looks for setups like this as part of the swap.

I've traded 3 DVD movies for 2 music CDs and a book from my Amazon wishlist. :)

That's interesting. So it automatically gives you something when you send something? Does it choose which items from your wishlist you get? Is it a site you'd recommend?

It'll only suggest a swap if it can set it up as a 3-way as I mentioned above.

I guess I'd say that I'd recommend it, esp since they list Wii games too. :)
