My husband is visiting Toronto so i am thinling of joining him. He would be going to Parry Sound for a dragon boat race on June 15, i have the option to stay the next weekend as well, though it so happens that my favorite author Neil Gaiman is having a book signing 6/23!
I'm still deciding, want to see if the Toronto group may be having some meet up around that time, thatsure tips the scale a bit!

That is so cool!! Is there some OBCZ in Toronto or where is the best place to meet? Do you guys still live in Mississauga? As there hasn't been any BC con or uncon in N America for a while I really miss seeing other BCers. Well, I did have Dancing Dog and Elsi visited me, so I can't be complaining, but it's been a long while since I saw you two!

Both of us live in Mississauga. I don't really know about the OBCZ in Toronto. The one we have in Oakville is probably very bare as we don't really have meet-ups anymore

There's an OBCZ at Harbord House in Toronto, which is where the Toronto meet ups are held, albeit irregularly.

Too bad the meetup isn't going on much any more. And thanks for the info about the OBCZ. Not sure if I will get to visit there but browsing the site it mentioned the Toronto brew week or something, so I am going to see what fun events they may have, to try some Canadian beers.

I should be staying w my friend near Markham. That's kind of far from Mississauga, will check w my hubby to see how we can get to Mississauga or nearby.
