I noticed lately that a lot (A LOT) of players have quit updaing the VBBs. I don't think it's fair to make the moderator or the next person down the line to update their turn and everyone else's turns. I hate having to replace or take my turn in certain boxes because I have to try to make sure I do 3 others peoples work for them.
I totally agree. As a box mod I'm always very grateful whenever a player updates for their own turn.
It gets time consuming when you have to update for several people in a row, and it also makes the possibility of making mistakes even greater because you're moving more information!

Nothing much we can do but hope people have time to do it themselves and know how to do it also.

It's very overwhelming for someone that doesn't know what they are doing. I know that personally, myself, I am always terrified that I'll do something wrong which will take the mod even longer to fix. It also takes a long time to try to figure it out and do it right, and I don't always have the time to spend on it. Sorry, but that's the truth.

Personally, I would rather someone tries and makes a mistake then not try at all. If someone tries then maybe the second or third time it will be right and the mod then has some help. I understand when a person is in a rush and can't update we all have heavy time commitments. As far as I know I have never yelled at anyone who has made a mistake in updating. Rather I have a chuckle because I make my share of mistakes.

But I don't know about these mistakes. I never make any.

Do you think we could put together a quick step by step guide for VBB updating and pin it on that section of the forums. Then when someone new to the process can read it and maybe less afraid of doing the updates?
