Congrats, Lauren and hubby! Emily is beautiful. Yes, it is a steep learning curve when you become a parent. But eventually you get the hang of it. 
Could not get "Secret Token" to work in my car yesterday (Audiobooks), so I started listening to "A Grown-Up Guide to Dinosaurs" (Audible) while running errands. I also read another chapter in "Christmas Keeper" before dozing off last night.
Yesterday was a great mail day. I received Dimple and Rishi from Lemonitsa and the River Song journal from GateGypsy. Both were prizes from past read a thons.

Still working on Stowaway. Will probably get quite a bit of reading done in the next week or so as we go on a road trip to Chattanooga.

I wasn't able to join the RAT as I was visiting my grands for the week. It was a week filled with kisses and laughs and so much fun. I'm back home now and missing them like crazy. 700 miles is too far. ☹

Finished Stowaway. Now reading my August pick-it-for-me book, Book Scavenger by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman.
Finished Book Scavenger - fun read! It's similar to Book Crossing however it's more of a game and all about the hunt (played by some middle school kids mostly in this book) and you get points and levels for finding books. The author does mention Book Crossing in the author's notes at the back of the book. Entertaining.

I was able to finish 4 books and made some progress on The Shadow Rising. I’m happy with my reading and I’m glad we did back to back RATs.
But mostly, I’m happy that Lauren had her baby!
