dunno if you'll all still look back to this thread, but I also sent you a message Elsi. I know I been MIA out here for awhile now. Still putting my life back together and just now getting back to my books. Anyway, it sounds as if you can't add people to the database yet though, right?

I had to look back thru all my info to make sure I knew how to give you that access and I think I've done it so go check and lemme know. You should see a new tab titled Swap Participants where you can add and edit people.

Cool! I'll check it out. Fortunately, the majority of the updates required have been to add the owed books and those of us with admin permissions have been keeping the database up to date. Cheesy has been adding the new players -- and as there isn't a large influx of new people, she's been able to keep up. But, it will be nice to have the ability to add people so that I don't have to wait for Cheesy to be available.

Okay is it me or have things changed on Zoho when it comes to searching by name? I could not figure out how to search the books to see what I owed. There is a while new search box. Anyone else notice anything?

The "filter" which used to be on the Owed books page isn't there any more. Yesterday it was still on the Mailed and Received books page. I was able to find the books for a single sender by using the search box. I don't like that as much as the filter.

Wow, it's terrible without the filter.

you can search by category(sender, receiver, etc) and putting your name in that field. This eliminates that awful drop-down box but is not as easy to use. I don't think I like it as well either

Why did the filter disappear? :-/

I really miss the filter for checking people for the VBB. Having to search each person by name means I have to actually know the exact username instead of picking from the list on the filter. Any chance that it'll be reinstated?

I don't know why the filter disappeared by itself but I just fixed it and added it back. in

In future, feel free to send me a email or fb msg as a follow-up to posting here to let me know when something's gone wrong since I don't get here as often as I'd like. I think it's still a good idea to post here so that everyone will know the problem's been brought to our attention and then I can just reply out here for everyone to see.

(Note to self or anyone listening: really need to look into making a bit of $ from this site so we can pay for some of the xtra features like email notification in addition to supporting the yearly domain name cost.)


PS - I posted a more detailed reply over on the Owed Books DB thread and I wondered if anyone might've went in to add something that made it go away... guess not, so you can ignore that! lol
