:dunce: I know, I am a rock and probably missed it somewhere but how do I get a username and password to mark something as received on the Zoho database?

And, how do I mark a book recieved?

One of the admins has to take care of it. I know that Cherie and Cheesy can. Not sure who else has the power.
I can mark something received for you if need be until you get one. Just let me know what it is.

Cherie has not responded to a couple of e-mails that I sent through BO -- don't know if her e-mail address has changed or not. I'd recommend asking Cheesy to add you to the site.

Once you've been added to the site, you will be able to edit the status of books which you are supposed to send or those that are to be sent to you. There are a couple of others -- like me, LoriPed, and Shaunesay -- who help maintain the database by adding the owed books from swaps and VBBs. It helps keep the database up-to-date if you will update the status of the books you are sending or receiving. But, as long as you journal a book when you receive it, the status in the Zoho database should get updated whenever one of us takes a "housekeeping" run through the site. I try to do this once every 3 months or so.

She's already been added to the site back a week or so ago. Don't you remember asking me to add her, elsi?
Anyway, sailorarby you need to register on zoho. https://accounts.zoho.com/register?serv ... oho.com%2F
Use sailorarby as your username please. Then go here https://creator.zoho.com/cheriepie/book ... wed-books/#
That should work. If not I'll have to chase down Cherie. :-/

Yes, Cheesy -- sailorarby was added to the database so we could list the books he owed and those owed to him.. But he was asking about how he could log in so he could update the status of those books. I didn't remember how that was done. Thanks for clarifying.

I go through the mailed books every couple of weeks or so. I hit the owed books every now and then as some don't get marked as mailed. It is the ones that are mailed but never get journaled as received that annoy the heck out of me. :giggle:

I've just marked a couple of my owed books as mailed, and put a note to say that they're coming from the book depository (cheaper than posting my copies). Let me know if that's not the way to do it, someone? Otherwise that's what I'll continue doing. So, new copy of Through the Language Glass coming to you Ace!

That's exactly what I do when I send via Book Depository.
